#1. Customer Support

As an entrepreneur (and bit of a workaholic) I want the answers to any road blocks RIGHT NOW. I don’t want to wait for business hours to call a help line and I don’t want to send an email and wait for someone to get back to me in the next couple days.

Kajabi’s customer support is second to none. 24hrs a day you are able to chat with a real human being that can help you with 99% of the questions you may have.I’ve never had to wait more than 10mins for a response and I’ve never had a question not be able to be answered.

Honestly, for me, this fact alone is worth choosing Kajabi over competitors

#2. Cutting Edge

Because the online world moves so rapidly, I wanted to use a company that was ahead of the curve and was clearly passionate about pushing forward with creative new ideas for its customers.

Kajabi is always adding new features to help make your job easier, your online presence more elegant and your business more profitable

They provide clear tutorial videos on every new feature and give you a systematic way to get the most out of any new updates.

#3. More professional community

Let’s be honest, there’s hundreds of thousands of people out there that have watched an inspiring video about making money online through courses and memberships. BUT, they haven’t actually achieved anything big in their life worthy of passing on yet.

I don't know about you, but I want to be surrounded by people that are serious and with a track record of success and  a passion to make the world a better place.

I joined most of the competitors facebook groups to have a good look around and it was instantly clear that Kajabi’s group that had the most serious people having helpful discussions that everyone could benefit from.

In another prominent competitors group, almost ever 15mins you see silly posts like ‘how can I make $2500 in the next 6 days’.

In the Kajabi group there are thousands of people that want to help each other and who actually have the skills and knowledge to do so.

#4. What the Pros use

This point is almost a 3B, but a new level of trust is formed when people you’ve followed for a long time and who are top of their game are using the software you’re considering.

A lot of people I've followed for years use Kajabi and have also provided lots of extra videos, blogs and keynotes about how they’ve used certain features to scale their business with Kajabi.

Some of these people include Brendon Bruchard, Amy Porterfield, James Wedmore and Billy Gene. They just a few in a pool of thousands of successful course/membership owners using Kajabi and raving about it.

#5. Plug-ins

There’s always going to be a third party software that you just love and want to have it integrate with Kajabi.

Kajabi syncs with everything you need it to and has really clear tutorial videos that walk you through the process of getting your favourite apps / plugins installed quickly.

Some of the things I’m using with Kajabi are mailchimp, zapier, facebook pixel, and deadline funnel, but as you’ll see from their 3rd party integrations list, there are loads of other plug in options.

#6. Minimal Tech Experience

Scared of the technical side of things? Kajabi allows even the most beginner person to build professional looking online assets with minimal tech skills.

You don’t have to learn to use a website building software, a list building software, a membership building software and a lead page software and pipeline building software! You learn to use Kajabi and it does all those things in one place for you.

And as already pointed out in #1, if you can’t do anything, then you just jump into the customer support chat and it’ll be solved for you in minutes.

#7. Someone else can build it

Too busy to build every aspect of your Kajabi course/membership out, or just impatient and want it done faster?

There’s a huge network of VA’s (virtual assistants) that are capable of helping with all things Kajabi and who actually do a really good job.

The facebook group will lead you to the best people that others have had success with. I was super surprised how affordable their fees were, so if you can get past the nerves of paying someone you’ve never met online, then this is a great time/money saver.

#8. Amazing Induction Training

It can feel overwhelming as to where to start when you’re building out your membership/Course. You don’t want to start with the wrong part to have to go back later and completely change it.

Kajabi has a full induction programme called the 28-day Challenge and it walks you through how to set up every single aspect of a membership course, website, funnels and more. It ensures that you build from the ground up so the foundations are in place and you’re not going to get a whole bunch of dramas that you’re going to have to repair later on.

The best thing is their induction programme is that it’s not drip-fed, so I think I did the 28-day challenge in about 8-10 days.

#9. Elegant User Interface

I have friends using other competitor products and I find their user interface really ugly and they're often complaining about what limits they have. Not only that, the user interface for their customers is also very ugly too.

Using elegant templates from Kajabi actually makes your business come across a lot more professional. Every time your customers/members login you want it to be subliminally reinforced in their minds that your site is world class and they are in the right place.

On top of that you want things to be easy to use. Every time someone has to email you a question or post in your private community about where to find something, why something won’t work properly on mobile, or other niggly comments like this, it just makes you look cheap and like you’re a hack that doesn’t really know what you’re doing.

#10. The Higher Price

I’m well aware that currently as I write this post, Kajabi is not the cheapest option on the market and you may not have a lot of money as you’re getting started. It’s tempting to just go for the cheapest option BUT PLEASE DON’T think like that.

You should be shopping based on where you want your membership/course site to be in the next 3, 5 or 10 years!!!

Personally I want a company that's got a bit more money to put into R&D (research and development), because I will directly benefit from those new features.

Giving Kajabi a slightly higher monthly fee allows them to not just have revenue to maintain the software and business costs, but they have the margin to continue to radically improve it too.

To give you an example, Kajabi recently developed the ability for everyone to have a phone app for their membership! At this stage they are the first to provide custom apps to members (as far as I can see). Developments like that are worth 100x the extra you’re going to pay for a cheaper alternative and will keep you ahead of your competition.
